An interesting story (not really)

This little story is about how I found dark orbit.

Well I just got done playing Guild Wars (Good game by the way, check it out if you get the chance), and I was bored and I didn't feel like doing much and I wanted to find another cool game to play. So I went onto Google and looked up a website called Maid Marian. When the search results came up I saw the word dark (don't ask why that attracted me to look at it) and I clicked on it and it took me to a website called Agame, and I saw the game dark orbit. So I clicked on the link and it took me to the login screen and I created an account and then I went to the home screen. I clicked on the Start button and then thats how I started playing the game. I was instantly hooked on the game and I still am. If you want to play a good game and many other good games you should go to either Agame, or Dark Orbit.

(This Entry was from Three years ago when I was in 9th grade [Im a senior now] and it was a grade in class so I'm sorry about the pointlessness of this entry)

I have a question

Does anyone know of anyway that makes it easier or faster to earn Uridium?
please do not give me any links to fake sites like a site that can be used to buy Uridium. I'm looking for an in game way to make Uridium fast: short of buying it though.

Tips

  1. If you think that you messed up your game at some point. Or your stuck somewhere, try asking your company for some help.
  2. It will be much easier for you if you join a clan early on in the game because your clan will be more likely to help you out with anything you need more so then the rest of the public would.
  3. If you find yourself in PVP and unmatched to the other player(s) there is not much you can do other than try to fight back and do as much damage as possible... or run: make sure you have enough engine generators to make a clean get away if you do try to run.
  4. Don't go to any websites that claim to be giving away free Uridium, unless the website or event is being advertised by a Bigpoint representative, or on the Dark Orbit webpage.

Dark Orbit

This is one of the best and most entertaining games in my opinion. I think this just because it has a good game play value. At first glance most people wouldn't even consider playing this games because the graphics are not that good. Believe me if you are one of those kinds of people you have made a bad decision. Dark Orbit may be one of the best games I have ever played and I would highly recommend that you at least try it out.

Review of Dark Orbit by: Chris Colahan

Just so people know, this is merely my opinion of the game. I have not everything there is to do in the game and I am not intending for anything I say in this review to be taken to seriously. That doesn't mean that it is to be ignored either.

Ok, well the first thing i have to say is that I think that making the game free was a good move on the part of the "Dark Orbit" staff. Unlike Jagex's "Runescape", if you don't pay you can still have access to everything in the game. There are only slight differences in accounts that have people that have payed and people's accounts who are unaltered. The one thing I like most about this game is that unlike most other MORGPG's this game does not get boring fast. It offers hours of fun game play. During this time you can do multiple things such as fight off alien life-forms and fight off the other companies which are real players! Somethings I didn't like though, are the agonizingly long time it takes to obtain even the smallest amount of Uridium, which for some reason is actually used as a second type of currency to buy Elite items. Unfortunately The Dark Orbit staff decided to make it impossible to get Uridium, and until you get to a higher level its extremely to get Elite items.

Answer to the question "What is honor and what does it do"

I have noticed a number of people asking what honor is and what it does for them.
no one really gives a straight answer, and its hard to find an answer. I found one though and I'm going to share it with you.

Well, I'll get right to the point. Honor is a way that people know how honest you are, hence the name "honor". This is also another way how the Dark Orbit staff team can rank you. The main thing that Honor does is increase the amount you can sell your raw materials for. You can earn honor from destroying enemies of any kind.

List of the most important things you should do when you first enter into dark orbit

This is a list of things that you should make high priority when you first start playing Dark Orbit.
  1. Do all of the things that it tells you to do when you first make your account: if you do, the game will reward the the liberator which is a good ship to be starting with.
  2. Don't worry about ammo so much until it starts to get really low because it can be annoying to buy it over and over again. Also, I find that if you buy a lot of ammo at one time it feels like you spend less then you do if you go and buy small amounts a lot.
  3. Try to do what ever you can to stay alive to conserve your Uridium supply.
  4. Make sure you always have at least 100 rockets of any kind.
  5. The game awards you a large amount of credits early on in the starting zone and "tutorial" so it will be easy to upgrade to a better ship relatively quickly. Personally, I saved up 250,000 at the start and then bought the Bigboy Battle-cruiser which is 200,000. The extra 50,000 was just a fund so that I wasn't broke afterwards.
  6. Once you get this ship it will be much easier to go deeper into space, but I would recommend that you get a few speed and shield generators so that you have a better chance to survive.
  7. kill higher level enemies and collect the ore that comes from their cargo and fill your cargo hold as much as possible, then refine the ore to get more expensive ore and then get more basic ore and repeat this a few times. Then go back to your space station and sell the ore, you should be able to make the upwards of 23,000 credits per run. I had made 37,000 before.
  8. Repeat the last step until you have enough money to fill up all of your ships weapon, generator, and extra slots and you will be set to go into deep space and possibly do some PVP.
